I was wondering if anyone has ever tried meditating with any in them and if so what their experiences were.

Mine are I found it easier to relax and once you get the hang of it concentration.
Just a thought

Hail Satan!! yes, i have done this when i first started out, and also it seem to relax me and open my mind more. BUT,as i did more and more meditations i found that i would start to rely on the alcohol so that i could relax. i prefer to do all meditations and workings using only my own power. once in a big while i may still use the alcohol to get more into void meditation, but this is just my experience that it is best to only rely on yourself.

To each his own but I would not advise this. Just for the simple fact that alcohol among other drugs can make you incomprehensive and impair your judgement. Through constant practice, one can advance without the need of altered stimulants/depressants. I promise you that you can get to a point to where not only can you relax yourself at will using your own strength. But after certain meditations you feel very relaxed and euphoric. It will make you want more and more, all of it being done with a clear head and additives sort of speak.   I never done them drunk but I have tried them off cannabis. It was harder for me to distinguishing feeling energy or feeling high. I eventually learbed that I didnt need them and that my meditations sessions were a lot more effective when done with a clear mind and practice of void meditations.   @blackkat_411, You did a goo job in realizing that ones mind is far more than capable to act upon it's own will. <em>I'd bet your meditations were far more effective when you started using your own mind itstead of aclcohol?

I've meditated buzzed, not on purpose, and I find it makes me less sensitive to energy. Also I don't think anyone should have a crutch for meditating.

It is easier but and I say but this is just the same as using a crutches. It takes away the whole point. You will continue to use these crutches for the rest of your life

<td val[/IMG]When you are under the influence of anything, you can never meditate to your full potential. Alcohol and drugs affect your soul's ability to retain energy greatly and meditating while intoxicated is pointless.
