Hi, when I finish meditating and sit/lay down I feel a burning from my base of my spine to the solar plexus part of my spine. Does this mean my solar plexus isn't strong enough or open?

This sounds more like the initial stage of a kundalini beginning to rise. This happened to my partner once, but it was way too premature and he started coming up with meditations to cool his spine down.

Keep doing what you're doing, but make sure to go easy with it when you need to. Do keep working with your chakras, though, as this will make it easier for the kundalini to ascend with the most ease.
