I just started meditating again after reading just about all of the information on the official JOS website I am on the journey to raise the serpent of Kundalini and Ive read so much corrupted information about chakras and meditation I have no idea what i should look for, what I should focus on etc.

All Left hand paths lead to the Godhead. Start by opening your soul through power meditations and Yoga then gradually work towards perfection.
