meaning of the eye in the triangle

so yeah, as the title says, what does this symbol, which is attributed to the "illuminati" mean? After hanging around templeofenki.blogspot.com, I saw that a man by the name of "jordan maxwell" was mentioned in the links section and i decided to check out some of his lectures on astrotheology and how xtianity is stolen from pagan sun worship. Well, he claims that its a symbol of something called the "cornerstone" - whatever that is...jesus is called the "cornerstone" in the bible, which to me kind of ties into whole thing about occult subliminals in the bible...but im leery of jordan after metapedia.com refers to him as a "zionist shill", and he looks like he might be jewish...

Other sources claim that this is a symbol of the human "third eye"/pineal gland, and that while its not an evil symbol per say, its the jews kind of mocking their gentile adversaries by displaying a symbol of power that they have that most of us dont.

Damnit! it IS on the JoS site! Im sorry - I was there relatively recently and forgot I saw it - I remembered the ankh, etc, but not this one...

I am a bit confused though...it says the pyramid "is symbolic of the shape of the human chakra" ..."chakra" is Sanskrit for "wheel" - am I missing something here?
