Marijuana

I wanted to second that whole strong mind and spirit thing that we all have. I don't know of another person that can quit cigarettes as quick as me. I literally smoked 4-5 a day, like any average person really- and even more when I was drinking heavy too. I dropped all of that cold turkey because one day I said to myself, fuck this. It's not worth it. I quit the cigarettes because I got pregnant ( I miscarried shortly after, due to unfortunate events) But it literally didn't have to wean myself off of anything. I stepped up and just said nah, time to be responsible. 

I believe in all of you, trying to better yourselves. You can do it. And now I look back on it- I no longer have a desire to really smoke anymore or drink. Some beer is tasty but it's not a regular thing for me. I believe spoiling yourself with this sort of thing...making your body happy with quick fixes like junk food, beer, getting high is really damaging like you all have said. It makes you dependant on something.

And I had the same problem when I quit smoking. It's caused by your brain trying to restock its natural supply ov chemicals. When you get high, your brain dumps large amounts ov otherwise rationed chemicals, and this imbalance causes intense anxiety, nightmares, and other such things. The only reason it doesn't happen while you're smoking is because you introduce a placebo to your body, so it doesn't realize it's low until you're sober and depleted.

Long story short, those are withdrawals. Contrary to popular belief, you CAN have withdrawals from pot, and most people do in some form. But you're an SS; you're inherently strong in mind and spirit, and I believe in you to push through. Not to make light ov your mental status; I certainly do understand what you're going through. But I also know without a tendril ov a shadow ov a doubt that you can overcome this, because you are infinitely stronger than the limitations you place on yourself.

To further explain our situation, My s.o. believed Marijuana was a great thing, he wanted to smoked every day for the rest of his life, he wanted to own a dispo and grow. Marijuana helped him find a reason to live. Even now he still doesn't think it's that bad, so he's been having a hard time adjusting to this new way of life. Hopefully the Munka working can help with this.

Like I've said before regardless of what happens we'll keep going forward.

I been sober for almost 5 months now and honestly is one of the hardest tasks I had to overcome.
Is not easy being on drugs and alcohol for 9yrs and stopping cold turkey, im fighting my cravings each and everyday on my own...
I seem to have constant dreams of me doing drugs almost every night, i feel like the enemy is taunting me trying so hard for me slip up back into my drug habits..
Im not having it tho, im fighting each and every day to stay sober and honestly ive never been so energitic and happy in my life.
I feel my bioelectricity has become alot stronger, when im at work im more energetic than most of my coworkers since in my job requires one to move around alot.
Im just flying like the wind with calmness and people just stare, specially women they are probably wondering were in the fuck I am getting all this extra energy from. Lol
It feels amazing and I will keep fighting this drug habit which has been my downfall in my life for about 9yrs,because theres nothing in this world want than to a strive for the godhead.
This goes for any of you who are having trouble overcoming drugs, if I can do it without any help of any kind than you my brothers and sisters can do it too.
