You are the words you use, you become the words you choose.

I’d like to begin this new series of in-depth articles by taking you on a journey of discovery that will touch on various topics.

My thanks to Our High Priest Zevios Metathronos who inspired me with his latest sacred post: https://ancient-forums.com/threads/...ods-against-Αισχρολογία-vulgar-speech.307658/

Any word we utter or deny activates specific areas in our brain, which in turn trigger the production of hormones and neurotransmitters that are ultimately responsible for how we feel.
In this regard, our well-being depends largely on the biochemical mix we create through the words we use, whether at work, at home, or even here on the Forum.
The great thing is that we can change this mix by choosing the words we use every day.

I realize these are technical terms, but I want to elevate the level of information I share here, so I ask you to stay with me.

The words we choose reveal our inner world and influence it. In line with this, we know well that in magic, our inner self is where everything begins.
Here’s how it works: every word you think or speak triggers a semantic search in your brain, which in turn evokes a series of ideas connected to that word. It’s a lightning-fast, unconscious process.
Pay close attention to the words you surround yourself with not just the ones you say, but also the ones you hear or read.

Words have absolute Power. Even before they reach the ears or eyes of others, they have been thought, and thus have already exerted their chemical effect on you before a single syllable is typed on the keyboard or transformed into sound by your vocal cords.
So understand clearly that the words you choose have the power to change your reality through the cognitive structure of your brain and the chemistry within your body.

Chemistry? Yes, chemistry.
It is chemistry that triggers all these reactions. Your behaviors are linked to chemistry. In fact, words trigger the release of hormones in you even before you speak them.

Now I want to give you three very simple examples:

  1. If, while showing someone an item you’ve purchased and handing it over, you describe it as “a little gift or a trinket” that item will automatically lose its value. Try instead saying, “a gift I chose for you.
  1. Similarly, if you start a call with “Hi, am I bothering you?”, the other person’s brain automatically perceives you as a nuisance, triggering cortisol (the stress hormone). Yes I know, you were just trying to be polite but that's how it works.
  2. You want to ask a question and say, “I have a stupid question that might not be relevant.” Well, if I were the person you’re talking to, I’d honestly tell you that if the question is stupid and irrelevant, well, why are you even asking it?

Another thing I’d like to briefly explain is that denying a frame reinforces it. What does that mean?
Saying “I don’t want to cause you trouble” has the same effect as saying “I want to cause you trouble.”

That’s how it is, and now I’ll explain why.

To deny a concept, the brain must first retrieve it from memory; after all, how can you deny a concept that doesn’t exist?
This ties into the magic of affirmations: the word “NOT” should not be included.

I’ll stop here for today, as these are complex topics that take time to digest.
Have you ever thought about all this?
Read this post at least three times to make sure you understand everything.

In the next post, I’ll go into even more detail, analyzing which words have more power than others and which hormones influence how you feel. (Cortisol, dopamine, serotonin, etc.)
I want all of you here to become skilled communicators so that you can make the difference in society.

Hugs,
Edward666
