Lower level demons, young mistake...

As I have learned over time, pledging yourself to a lower level demon isn't very useful. However, if you are thinking about attempting to re-pledge to a more powerful demon, think twice. Negative effects are most likely going to result. As I have found out. I'm more experienced than most, but I am still at a loss for this. Any ideas from the older folks? (Please no kids advice)

negative effects is because you are not strong enough to have the demon close to you. Another thing is that your brain tries to block your communication with the demon and this hurt. Another thing is how the demon appears if you invoke the demon or if you have him/her in your room (a stronger demon/spirit is a lot harder to invoke then weaker). And lower demons can be of help

First you don't "pledge" yourself to a Demon. You are mutual friends, not a servitor thats very unsatanic. Maybe the negative effects you say is because the Demons want free thought and hate slavish worship and blind faith so they try to remind you that its unsatanic.

<td val[/IMG]First off, I understand where you are coming from. However, everybody has their own way of working things. In my experience, pledging to on particular demon, helps with the communication. I am not saying that you are bound to only one demon, all I am trying to convey here, is an understanding of the two.

It depends on what you mean pledge. If its what I think it is on the terms of like "selling your soul for exchange for something" surely either you won't get anything or you'll attract the attention of an enemy angel. But if you mean something as simple as summoning Him/Her and asking something its ok.

It doesn't have to do with someone's own way but with the Demons' policy on that sort of thing. My Guardian Demon even gets angry sometimes when I ask something from him that I can do it on my own using magick.

<td val[/IMG]No, not selling your soul of course not. (Haha) Simply put, making an alliance with one perticual demon... (much like the gaurdian demon)  If you look at the (ofs demonology) you will find a demon dedication.. this is not it. :)  I have a circle of three that I work with, and they are perfect for me. However, if I attempt to work with any of the others without my three it results in unwanted outcomes. I guess we are going around in circles here, to get to the point of all this.... I was simply asking if there was anything I could do for my cousin who dedicated himself to a lower level demon, and now is being attacked. i already suggested a banishment ritual, and to no avail. I meditated on the subject and all I could come up with was an assisted removal. I am at a loss.
