And some people don't yet have a soulmate, or have been in various relationships through your past lives, a different partner in each life, for example. That's just how life is. There are 12 houses in the natal chart, relationships are only a few of those houses. Not everyone focused on building a soulmate relationship in their past lives. Most people had to focus on other realities of life.
If you want to wait for your soulmate, great. This is perfectly fine. But to be realistic, endless waiting can do more harm than good. You might never find your "perfect soulmate" and miss out on many experiences in life, including having a family with someone who is not "perfect" yet is more than good enough to have a family with and grow together with. And romance, not just sex, is very healthy for the mind.
Staying realistic, a relationship is not going to suddenly solve all your problems in life. You have to solve your own problems. A couple helps each other and makes life more worthwhile, but you need to be ready for it, not just sitting there thinking that as soon as you meet someone your entire life will fall into place. Find your obstacles in life and work on defeating them, and work on building other skills and honing your talents. Love is one part of life, an important part, but it is not everything.
You need to decide for yourself what you need, and what you are willing to have. Perhaps you will only get a relationship for a few months or a few years, before meeting "the one". That's just how life goes for some people. Are you willing to do this, or do you want to stay single and be alone for who knows how long? You need to decide what your priority is.
Ideally, everyone will meet their perfect partner at a young age and live happily ever after. But this is just not how life is. Look at history and all humanity suffered through. People met their true love, he died in battle or she died from a plague before they could get married. So, did the remaining one live alone for the rest of their life? Usually not. They usually met someone else who was good enough and got married, had children, lived life. And step-families were always common because people remarried after the death of a spouse, to give their child a mother or father.
Love is not an easy area of life, for many people. Many people have issues or unrealistic expectations, and a relationship is two people, double the potential problems. But if you are willing to find someone to grow with, or just have companionship and intimacy while you focus on your other priorities in life, you can do magick workings to make it happen. But you need to know yourself better first, and know what you want, know what you need, know what you are willing to work on, and know what you are or aren't willing to compromise on.
Regarding magickal workings for love. The love workings on the JoS work, but you might need to put more power into them if you've done them before with no results. Build your spiritual power more first, clean your chakras before you begin a working, do a freeing the soul working first if needed, and do whatever else you need to do in life. You can argue that having a loving partner by your side will help your life overall and give you more motivation to do everything else in life, and this is definitely true for many people. But if it's not your fate, then you have to do what you can.
