LaVeyan, looking to transition

Hello, I'm a LaVeyan, formerly Catholic, not sure how to say this whithout sounding like a little cunt, people get antsy as far as religion is involved.

Basically I've looked through they Joy of Satan web page, and read through part of a pdf copy of the Qu'ret Al-Yezid, from my standing I'm fairly convinced, however I've never been an immensely spiritual person, I suppose that is why La'Veyan Satanism appealed to me.

I understand, from what I've read so far that Satanism is a one-way road, and while it doesn't scare me in any sense, I can't help but feel somewhat intimidated, aha.

Point being, I'm not sure if I want to partake in something so life-changing (Or maybe it isn't, let me know?), so early in my life. Not sure if this forum displays age, but I'm 17 attending university (And god-damn, *Forgive the pun* spirituality is a joke in Australia), and I'm not sure I want to commit, I suppose.

On that topic, I don't think I'm spiritually ready for something like this, but how will I know? Will it just click one day? Do I need to go on some sort of... journey of self?

Any help would be appreciated.

Tom.

Dedication is to be done when one is 100% sure of this decision. If you don't feel ready then that's your decision. I dedicated when i was 16 and i'm 18 now and i do not regret this decision. Quite the opposite actually. I live a much better live then i ever did as a xian, allthough i do have to hide it from others.

Study the JOS side along with the refferenced links and think once more. If you do not feel ready, then no one is pressuring you- we do not force our beliefs on anyone, so don't worry. No ''loving'' hypocrite is going to burn you on stake for that. One of the key words of Satanism is independence.

Please don't use the 'C' word. It's disrespectable to all Women. Satanists respect Women and the feamale aspect and holds them in high regard. You need to study the JOS site and Satanism is not a Joke but the real 'deal'.

Hail Satan

Is it wise to meet someone off the Net? Or give out personal information?
