Lammas/Lughnasadh Day

So I was doing some research on Lughnasadh and it says that it orginated from Celtic mythology said to have been started by "Lugh"....then I started to do some research on the "Lugh" character and it talked about how "Lugh" was excellent with a spear.

Then I thought, well this is a celebration during a time welcoming Darkness and someties a funerary holiday....and Set has been recorded as combatting (killing, I think) apohis with a spear. So I wonder if Set could have some relation to this holiday and "Lugh", what do you guys think?

Other than that, what would you suggest doing for Lammas?
