Kundalini Awakening and Mental Illness

I am currently going through a kundalini awakening, but the doctors tell me I have schizophrenia. I am currently taking medication (Abilify) and Zoloft for depression. Does the Kundalini rid one of mental illness in the process of cleaning?

The thing is, the medications seem to helping a lot. My parents noticed and so did my psychiatrist, although I don't want to talk about the kundalini with him because he gets all weird.

I would recommend that you do not speak of these thing with doctors, because most likely they will want to do test on you and in the end they'll make up some stupid thing thats ” wrong” with you. they will just try to label you as crazy and make you spend a shit load of money for meds..

As I remember, depression is the side-effect of the kundalini awakening, according to HP Vovim Baghie. But he got through it without taking any medication.

The doctors said you are schizophrenic AFTER you told them about your kundalini? If so, that was a big mistake my friend, and don't take this the wrong way, I'm just concerned that they might use these medications to fuck up your nervous system or make you addicted to them, or other shit.

Be careful about telling spiritual things to outsiders, as they are potential enemies, and they can make you end up in a mental hospital.

In case you had this mental illness BEFORE the awakening of your kundalini, then just be careful with it. As the JoS site states, the heightened level of bioelectricity can be dangerous for those with mental illness.

The Kundalini process can cause schizophrenia like symptoms, if you didn't already have it.
If you already had it, I don't know if the Kundalini corrects it, one could just work away on it with daily workings.

For me personally these have helped the most with the Kundalini process:
1. Freethought
2. Being as completely accepting as I can be. (I use energy to help with this*).

Thank you all for your replies. I have since stopped the Zoloft because mixing it (it was recently) with the Abilify made me want to sleep for 15 hours a day, and I was always feeling something like a "weight" on me.

I am not sure if I had schizophrenia before the Awakening, but only time will tell.
