I've herd of it from what I herd its done at a marrage jumping over the broom as some sign of starting a new life together so if I've herd correctly its like carring the bride over the threshold though I could very easily be wrong

It is an ancient custom,but not sure of the origin though.My big concern is,is it misinformation from the kikes,if so we are not going to use it in our ceremony.We will not use anything in our wedding, that Father Satan will not bless.Since we firmly believe that He brought us together,and we only want to honer Him and the Gods of Hell,in our household.

I'm pretty sure it is an old African custom practiced by the slaves in the South during slavery days.

I remember watching it on the miniseries, Roots, in the 1970s when I was a child.
