Is there anything on the JOS site about soul retrieval?

Ive been researching the subject of soul retrieval, and was wondering if there was anything on the JOS site about it. Or any good info that anyone might know?

<td val[/IMG]It's a shamanistic belief that when one goes through a major trauma, emotionally or physically, one loses part of their soul and is never the same because of it.  Soul retrieval would be retrieving and healing it back so one can be as they were before the traumatic event. Such as abuse from a spouse or parent, war, almost getting killed, surgeries, near death experiences, surviving natural disasters, ect.

What it is about is losing part of ones soul due to extreme traumatic events in ones life.  Such as abuse, war or surviving a natural disaster for example. Where one is never quite right or the same after the traumatic event.l

Hmm... though I've read about a similar concept.

The soul invests in an incarnation. If the life of the person is traumatic like the situations you describe, the soul is putting too much effort and degenerates. This is like the soul is lost in the incarnation.

This seems similar to what you're saying, but there isn't mentioned anything about soul retrieval.

Maybe you'd like to read about it in the book "The Causal Body" by Arthur E. Powell

This concept you've described seems interesting enough, do you have any books to suggest on this subject?
