Immortality and Invulnerability

I just read the above post of HPS Maxine, and I have a question about immortality. It may be a stupid question, but that's the way it is...

So.. Is immortality only a resistance to natural things for example diseases or the elements, or is it a resistance against everything including gunshots or blade cuts too?


My other question is: Is there a way to be 'invulnerable' to injuries? For example enhancing your body's healing ability to be super-fast so any wounds can heal within seconds?

Immortality, The Magnum Opus, stops physical aging and makes the body perfect. Do some research on Hard Qigong/Chi Kung. Trained Martial Artists can direct their Energy into an area of the body and withstand blows and srikes, and yes blades and spears too, that would effortlessly kill an untrained person. Do you mean immortality and the Magnum Opus? Perhaps I should have typed it differently as that's what I meant - that the Magnum Opus gives immortality. Or do you mean something else?

It's biological immortality. You can still die by unnatural means. However, I think there are probably ways one can condition their body to the point where they may be near invulnerable to most unnatural ways of death (getting shot, blunt force trauma etc)
