I want to learn about why such a powerful entity would want anything to do with our weak energy forces (in comparison) in our plane of existence, and also what it means to be satanist and how it will benefit me and whichever entity follows me.

Well, our enemies are weak! Evil is always weak! They want our energy because we are strong, and we have powerful potential. I have never met someone who does wrong in the world who doesn't have a weakness in them. You see, the Reptilians are what is behind the Jew, and the Jew wishes to enslave us to prepare Earth for the Reptilians, beyond that I'm not entirely sure of their motives. 
Humanity as a whole at it's current output of energy is very weak, but in large numbers can add up (hence repetitions of vibrations during meditation). Which is why they are trying to control the masses at such a large scale and rather than a solid few. But the Jew is SO WEAK, that if no one in the world were under their curse it'd be like they were never here.
It's all about Rising above the Jew's control and thousands of years of curses and enslavement in order to free humanity from the ties that bind us to the physical world and open the door to the existential realm where we may attain the desires we so please while eliminating Evil from the Universe and Rising the Golden Age from it's tomb where it lies.Being a Satanist is about strength, spiritually and mentally (physical strength is a plus, but it is advised you be fit in order to handle the energy). Meditation is a constant within this religion. Speaking of such, Satanism isn't technically a religion, it's human spirituality.Through constant meditation and perseverance one can raise their energies high enough to reach Godhood, and become like Satan and the Gods of Duat (hell).

Hmm. Okay. 
Entities themselves do not follow us, unless commanded to..which they must be programmed to do. Strong beings are harder to program, and in general, don't bother. If you mean thoughtforms you make, you make them and help them achieve whatever their goal is. If you mean what the enemy sends against us, that can be repelled, which is a good thing.
Being a Satanist is understanding Father Satan, alongside the Nordic Demons (on the Joy of Satan website) to be our creators and, I lack a better word, "superiors." Father Satan made us, specifically of them all, and watches over us. But, the Demons (which means "a god") want us to become like them: powerful, immortal, with a "risen serpent and elixir of immortality". More on those two can be found on the website. No, it's not inherently easy for most, but it's our goal as Spiritual Satanists. And we're Spiritual Satanists specifically, that extra word is vital.
Lastly, Father Satan and the Demons are our origin, so they look after us. The enemy, the Jews Greys Angels and Reptilian-things, want us dead because they do..they see us as a threat and have been fighting Father, though they lost, for a long time. Father's defeated the main branch of the enemy, but those who remain on/near Earth, simply, "haven't gotten the memo," or more accurately, are destroying what they can before they die.

As for how it benefits you, you can become immortal and develop cool powers, but MOST importantly, you can understand mankind's past...you can see past the lies. True enlightenment, true sight, true understanding..if wisdom is your cup of tea.
