and I would appreciate if some of you here could help me out with them. Basically, I already had believed the majority of material I came across on the JOS site before I even started reading it through my own research, and I've been drawn to these types of things since a young age and I've always had nothing but contempt for the ignorant mainstream religions; however, there are just a few things I'm wondering.

Now, within the Joy of Satan site it refers to Satan as an extraterrestrial being. I believe everything about the extraterrestrials and the formation of humanity, etc., but I am having a hard time understanding what makes Him a "God" so to speak, if he is/was an actual physical being. And I'm also curious, the site makes it clear that it is very much possible to communicate with Him and His Demons, I'm wondering how many of you have had success in this regard. If you devote your soul to Him is it a sure thing? I know the site stresses the importance of power meditation, etc. I am sorry if my questions may sound stupid, I am still new to this religion. I've read just about everything on the Joy of Satan site and I'd like nothing more than to be a part of this, given that I will see real results.

I suppose I'm just skeptical towards any religion as everyone thinks they have the right answer, but I feel this is the right path for me, I was just kind of hoping to hear about some of everyones' experiences getting into Theistic Satanism and what I should expect and the best way to go about and start this.

Any God or "god-figure" would be an extra-terestrial, since, they are an extra being.

He is a physical as you or I, we are all masses of energy and so is he, yet to see a spritual being you need to view it through a spiritual eye, this doesn't nessesarily go for hearing, yet this can be decpetive, so don't go crazy by constantly thinkning a Demon is speaking to you.

This is were void meditation helps, it helps focus the mind and sharpen the will.

I've had profound experiances with Demons and Satan, and I dedicated my self just last Candlemas.

I remember, that for the 1st time in years that I contemplated suicide (when I was a bit newer) I was walking down the street beating myself up, and then I felt this feeling, it was the same type of power that I feel when I do power meditations for an hour or two, and I felt it instantaniously,it was like an embrace, the confidence I felt almsot overwhelmed me, it was like my depression had been destroyed in an instance, I was so happy. I asked "Is this Satan?" and I got a "yes". (This was just a day or two after I summoned Satan)

I've had more, but felt like sharing that one.

Do the dedication Ritual, if this is something you really want to pusue.

This is the original meaning of the word "God", a physical being who has perfected his body and soul and obtained immortality, like the Sanskrit word "Siddha". Of course it doesn't refer to an omnipresent or all knowing being, there's no such thing. And of course it also doesn't refer to someone who needs to be worshipped. The main idea in Spiritual Satanism is transform yourself into a God like Satan, using power meditation e.t.c.

No, dedicating is a non-selfish thing you do and you should do it while having no specific expectations. It affects nothing if you're a newbie. In fact thats when many newbies are mistaken, they think everything will happen automatically for them just after they dedicate. Communication is telepathetic, you have to be advanced spiritually to do that. Its a lot easier when you've opened your chakras and empowered them enough.

Correction:Spiritual Satanism. Yes, most of those having the title "Theistic Satanism" are actually based in xianity...

Thank you for the clarification. In terms of devotion I did not mean that I would devote myself with the expectation of some sort of benefit to myself, more along the lines of it is just hard for me to devote myself to something that I cannot feel/experience, but as you said, perhaps it is a selfish desire, but part of me wishing to know 100% that something is exactly real and what I think it is before I devote myself to it and that's why I came here asking for all of your collective experiences and opinions. I shall pursue the power meditation as I do genuinely believe in all the material off of that site. Apologies for my ignorance on certain topics, I came here to continue educating myself and to seek guidance from those who are more experienced/knowledgeable in regards to this subject. I suppose some of it may be hard to wrap my head around at the moment due to the fact that I have not yet begun to develop myself spiritually as much as I should.
