Because you kind of remind me of myself back when I started, I'm gonna take the time and "introduce" you, so to speak.
Have you already done the dedication ritual? If not, it would be dangerous to start meditating and doing spiritual stuff as the enemy would likely interfere. So I highly recommend for you to do this before doing any of the stuff I will post below.
Alright, now that this is out of the way, let me answer your questions:
"How do I contact father satan (and demons/astral beings in general)?"
This kind of communication is likely not how you would expect it to be. For me, it's like my own mind talking to me, but in a different way, so that I can distinguish it from my own thoughts. This comes with practice. To contact father satan, just focus on him and talk. Then be open and you will receive an answer. In the beginning you likely will receive symbolic answers as you probably are not yet psychically open.
"Is it a bad idea to call upon demons for help etc.?"
It's really up to the individual. I personally don't, because I don't want to have to rely on someone else in my journey if possible.But generally, it is fine to ask demons for favors. BUT it is very important that you are dedicated before doing so, as many demons are unfriendly towards non-satanists. Also, if you ask for a favor, be ready to give something back. Usually favors are paid back by doing spiritual warfare (Rituals). As for contacting them, after you have summoned a demon for the first time (FORMALLY!, read the demon stuff on JoS), you just need to focus on his/her sigil and talk. The rest is like talking to any other astral entity.
"Is it bad to try something so early in my spiritual journey?" - Generally, yes. There are no mediators in satanism, and you should find a way of your own. Most stuff is covered on the JoS website if you look deep enough.
"How do I begin, be happy, etc.?"
Happiness is incited by high bioelectricity, which you get by advancing. This brings me to the next point. There is no set-in-stone thing for advancing. Everyone advances at his/her own pace. However, before you pick out your own meditations and make your own routine, I would highly recommend doing these two programs, as they will lay a very solid foundation that you can build upon. First, start with the 40 day power meditation program from HP Zevios:

After this, try and pick out meditations that you like (and/or that work towards your goals) and make a routine. ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO STICK TO THIS ROUTINE AND TO NEVER SKIP EVEN 1 DAY! THIS IS VITAL! Also, before you start any workings/meditations, check lunarium.co.uk for the moon calendar, and look whether or not the moon is void when you want to start. A void of course moon causes any working started during it to FAIL. So avoid that at all costs. (The only exception are Rituals, as they are a collective energy working started at a perfect time by our HPs)To avoid miscommunication here, you only need to be careful of the void of course moon if you START a working, so if you start a routine when there is no void of course moon, and then the next day there is one, it doesn't matter because you STARTED the working when the moon was not void.
And whoops, I almost forgot the last part of your series of questions. "I don't want my journey to be lonesome. I want a teacher/mentor."There are NO mediators in satanism, therefore you need to get off your ass and study the stuff on joy of satan. However, this doesn't mean your journey needs to be lonely. You can always talk to other satanists on here if you want. But please remember, laziness is very disliked here, so don't just ask a question whose answer is a few clicks away on the JoS site. If you want to be a spiritual satanist you will need to study and get knowledgeable sooner or later. It's worth it though.

I was born into a Christian house. Although I don't think they are too strick so starting the process to become a satanist, is not an issue. I am positive this is the path I wish to take. I am tired of the Christians and their lies, they see something good and claim it a miracle and something bad, they blame sin. Yet they do not have any support for these claims. God is full of shit, never once had anyone I known received or participated in a Messege or conversation with 'god'. I am ready to embrace Satan. Although I have some questions.
How do I contact father Satan?
I see many people here and elsewhere post and say they've talked with Satan. How? I wish more than anything to be able to talk with him.
I contain the utmost respect for all beings and it is stressed to respect demons, is it a bad idea to call upon them for help in advancing spiritually? Is it bad to try something so early in my spiritual journey? How do I contact them?
And lastly, I wish to be happy. I understand this takes time. But I feel I'll be able to move faster I am a quick learner and find that I (no offense to others) have a higher level of thinking than most my age on the fact that I can grasp new concepts so easily. Is there a set time before advancing? Or is it up to me? How will I know it's the right time?
How do I focus my chakras and meditate? How do I begin? What is it like?
I have read many of the sermons on JoS but they seem to be focused on the more adept. I feel out of place but that does not mean I don't welcome it. I wish to advance. I wish to know Satan. I wish to hail the true Satan. Not the lies and falsehoods foolish people make about it.
I know this is alot, but I am serious and wish for the teachings of someone directly versus reading a page. I know this all is on JoS if I could find it. But I would like a person. Some interaction.
