Most hygiene products (hair conditioner, shampoo, body soap, face soap, toothpaste, lotion, sunscreen, etc) are toxic to us especially if used long-term. I found a free app called "Think Dirty" it basically shows which products are toxic for us and which are not. You can use this app to scan your hygiene products and see how toxic they are, its a scale from 1-10, 10 being extremely toxic and bad.
Many mainstream brands such as Dove are extremely toxic and horrible. The toxicity is usually reproductive and/or developmental toxicity. I'd suggest making your own products and/or using organic and non-toxic products. The app "Think Dirty" is very useful and features products that are non-toxic. And of course stay away from fluoride I believe theres already been forum posts in the past about fluoride.
Same goes for makeup and perfume, please be careful!
