Hristo Botev was a Bulgarian revolutionary and poet. Not sure if he was secretly a zevist (debatable) but this poem is something that i think is worthy of a mention.

“My prayer” in English:

Oh God, my true God. Not you who dwells in the heavens, but you who are within me, in my heart and soul.

Not you, to whom monks and priests bow and to whom Orthodox scoundrels light candles;

Not you, who made man and woman from dust, and left man to be a slave on earth.

Not you, who anointed kings, popes, patriarchs, and who has abandoned my brothers in trouble.

Not you, who teaches the slave to endure and pray, while feeding him lies until the grave.

Not you, God of liars, of dishonorable tyrants, not you, idol of fools, of mankind’s enemies!

But you, God of reason, protector of the slaves, the one whose day soon the nations shall celebrate!

Inspire in everyone, oh God!

A living love for freedom — so that each may fight as he can against the enemies of the people.

My prayer in Bulgarian:

О, мой боже, правий боже!

Не ти, що си в небесата, а ти, що си в мене, боже - мен в сьрцето и в душата...

Не ти, комуто се кланят калугери и попове и комуто свещи палят православните скотове;

не ти, който си направил от кал мьжьт и жената, а човекьт си оставил роб да бъде на земята;

не ти, който си помазал царе, папи, патриарси, а в неволя си зарязал мойте братя сиромаси;

не ти, който учиш робьт да трпи и да се моли и храниш го дор до гробът само със надежди голи;

I tried my best to translate it as accurately as possible. But if there are any inaccuracies then please correct me.
