How to get a feel for energy

Greetings Satanic brothers and sisters,
Can someone please tell me what is the best way to get a feel for energy? I am doing my aura cleansings, and I also breath-in white-gold light from the sun and from very bright light bulbs, but hardly feel any sensations in my body when I do so. I concentrate on the warmth/heat emmited from them, but am having trouble getting any physical 'tingling' or 'surging' sensations from it. Is there a particular feeling that I should be getting when I inhale white-gold light? Thank you for your help.
