The Gods how to ask proper forgiveness from gods

AvatarAsk Zeus Operator1 min to read

Greetings.

I have a few questions; I couldn’t find answers to them in the temple—at least not in detail.

I should point out that I don’t commit most of these sins in my whole life. but I’m still looking for answers so I can use them when teaching others.

1. Let’s say we’ve spoken ill of the gods; how is this judged, and how can it be forgiven?

Example: [Someone who has dedicated their soul spoke an insulting word against Zeus, but it was accidental—it just slipped out—and it’s now too late to take it back.]

What should the initiate do in this situation?

2. If someone, out of fear of demons, threw away their pendulum (when they were a child, around 13–14 years old)

3. Unintentionally damaging the gods’ altar.

What is the weight of these actions on the gods’ scales?

And how do we ask for forgiveness in these matters?

The Gods don't react and behave like humans do. They don't suddenly get angry, then calm down later, and forgive, or get angrier and want retribution from you.

They treat everyone the same. When someone insults the Gods they're mainly offending themselves and damaging themselves. The Gods don't get hurt, nature just allots the proper karmic reaction to whatever action you do, good or bad.

To those who want nothing to do with the Gods or "oppose" them, the Gods just withdraw themselves from that person and let karma and nature take its course to whatever was allotted to the person, good or bad.

Let's assume you did all 3, even if you don't want to admit it. The first one was done for a reason. You were angry at something in your life and blamed the Gods for it, for either causing it or letting it happen. It's usually because of whatever karma you produced.

The solution for that is to analyse what made you angry in the first place and work on fixing that problem, align with the Gods, connect with them and continue on the path, the Gods are less concerned with words and more with actions.

The second one was done out of fear due to programming, not your fault.

The third one was unintentional, again not your fault.

There's no need to feel guilt for any of these things. Those who really love the Gods and want to connect with them, sometimes being angry at them even if they did nothing wrong is a sign you care deeply about your connection with them, rather than a Yehubor who wants to run away from them or an atheist who doesn't think they exist.

The Gods always have the door open for people who are interested in them and want to connect with them.

I am answering your questions from a general perspective rather than assigning a specific "weight" to each individual action, because I am not aware of the circumstances, intention, awareness, age, and subsequent response to an error, and all of these factors matter and should be taken in consideration.

Making a mistake is not a problem as long as it is acknowledged and that recognition leads to a corrective course of action.

The Gods understand and see why a person makes mistakes. Do not misunderstand this or confuse your worth as a person with mistakes. They do not define the person.

Read here:

And more generally:

The best way to "earn forgiveness" is to acknowledge your mistakes, rectify them, and work on their causes, transforming yourself for the better in a stable and lasting way. This is important because, once you have acquired a better way of approaching existence, you must be able to maintain it and make it an enduring part of who you are: a renewed person. For example, actively work on becoming aware of an involuntary linguistic habit or reflex so that you can consciously recognize it and change it.

Then, on a practical level, if you wish, you can perform a Ritual to Zeus in which you speak to Him openly and from the heart about all of this, explain to Him how you intend to proceed in correcting yourself, and respectfully ask for His support if you feel called to do so.
