How do I know how far I am in meditation?

tl;dr, assuming pretty damn far, as I've been meditating for 3 years, since the summer of 2011.
But that's not the question. I am a bit confused on where I am, and I have been experiencing signs that I am....far, but not complete in my ascension. Here are the signs I just recently experienced.
First, a looming sense of insanity. I felt like I could take on the entire earth if I wanted to, but then I had a sense of doubt because I'm only human, and I feel that many entities are trying to say that I can't be a God, even if I wanted to. I didn't even know what I was thinking when I said I was really powerful. I may be, I may not be. I'm still confused on the matter.
Second, a sense of enlightenment. I had the mind of what seemed to be the greatest philosopher on the earth, to put it into my own terms. I had a realization of what I need to do to complete my ascension. I was told this WILL take months to at least another year to complete this stage, but I need to combine my Ida and Pingala to create the Hermephrodite Energy. Much like Kai Purr was saying on Joy of Satan, which you can read here: The Philosopher's Stone  "To merge the twin serpents (Ida & Pingala) is to merge the male and female aspects of the soul. Each serpent or aspect of the soul is one third of an already perfect soul. There's the Male (Pingala), Female (Ida), and Sexual (Sushumna) parts of the soul. To reach godhood, these parts of the soul need to completely merge. This is usually done with Kundalini Yoga as it increases the sexual energy (the power) of the sushumna which brings the male ida and pingala together. This is best done by sexual relations with demons or the Cobra Breath Technique."
So, if anyone can answer me this: how far am I? because I'm still confused (can't stress that enough).
