How do I 'equalize' my bioelectricity?

Recently I've been doing full chakra meditations but it seems their empowering effects go a little far. Today and yesterday I've been shocked by my door handle twice, my car door twice, my CAT (he's really fuzzy), one of my cupboard handles, and the edge of my computer. Although it doesn't truly hurt it's not really nice to keep experiencing it, so I'm wondering how I could prevent this from happening. Serious question. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, it's always when I don't expect it, and never when I do.
