How can I contact my Guardian Demon again, without ever having known

I had a Guardian Demon 'appointed' to me as a child, to protect me from Christian influences,and such, and one day when I was 14 or 15 I foolishly set foot on church ground for the amusement Christians would give me, and I have not seen or heard of him since, I have assumed that he had become angry at me for my stupidity or that he is still there, protecting me from within the shadows...I can sense his presence every so often...I'm wondering if it was an agreement to protect me for only so long, and then we were to part ways, but I miss his continuous presence.
I never asked his name because it felt wrong to think of it, it'd feel like I stripped him of his freedom as I didn't want him to be enslaved in any kind of way and I don't know how to call on him, so those of you with valid knowledge, please help me;
how can I be put in an agreeable form of contact with my Guardian Demon again?
