Higher-self or Guardian?

I'm a little confused. I'm not sure what to think of this...

Sometimes I get a voice in my head that will help me make decisions.
It's like it is part of me. But at the same time it seems like it is an entity. It's like there is a personal mentor in my head. Sometimes it'll just suggest... other times it will be very stern and tell me what to do. Since I moved out it has been getting more stern with me. I know I haven't been meditating as much as I want to. I've been asking for a kick in the butt to get me off my lazy ass and back on track.

I just don't know who or what this voice is. Is it my higher-self? My Guardian demon?
I know it is not Satan himself because he is accompanied with an powerful vibrational energy and his voice is very very distinctive.

I hope anyone can help me.

The what new age calls as 'higher self' is actually inside You , like a perfect archetype in the Aether . I won't go deep into explaing that ,but Your Higher Self (I hate this n(J)ew age terminology) is not seperate from You , not even in imagination . If You hear something in Your head , it doesn't mean that its FROM Your head . Depending on what the voice may say , You will know if its from the Gods of Hell or the enemy .

Ok that makes sense. I've had this voice in my head since I was a child.

I've experienced the enemy trying to manipulate my thoughts. I was in a discussion with my brother (he's die hard christian) and while we were talking thoughts came in my head that opposed what my argument was. Right away I knew those thoughts were coming from something that was with my brother.

All I need to do is distinguish my own 'Mentor' so to speak from which ever God it is that is with me.
