Hi, i just joined the group so this is me saying hi.

A little bit about me:

I've been a santanist for about 2 or 3 years (not really sure), and I have read the JOS website. I am fully dedicated as well. I was athiest growing up, but discovered the JOS website accidentally when with a friend, and revisited it later because it interested me. everything about it just seemed...right? so after practicing the meditations, and becoming comfortable with everything i decided to dedicate, and have been proud of my decision ever since.

I'm 18, and I live in Ohio. I'll be moving to Akron in the fall for school (University of Akron).

oh yeah, almost forgot, my name is Alex (i'm a girl btw)

Well I never had that issue growing up but then I did not develop my interest in satanism until now at age 28.
Anyway
You are not alone as there are many others here that either have or have had the issue of growing up in a RHP home and/or environment.
You should check out the JOS area on astral temples if you haven't yet.
You could accomplish so much if you had one of those.  A good thing here is that it does not have to be constructed in ones own dwelling.  
Meditation you may be able to do at home as many people meditate for different reasons so most likely nobody would guess you are doing it for satanic purposes.

none, JOS was the only one (sorry if i worded it wierd and made it hard to understand). I found the JOS site 2-3 years ago as i said, and when i mentioned that i revisited it later, i meant a couple of days later, not years

other forms of satanism have always seemed a bit cheesy/hollywood-esque to me. SS on the other hand is completely different. it goes against all of the stereotypes about satanism, not to mention the fact that it actually makes sense historically. I also have found that i excel at many of the meditations (especially anything that has to do with healing), and i can "feel" and manipulate the energy fairly easily which helps to strengthen my belief when it come to physical proof (although i have felt drawn to it since i first started it, and had a good feeling about it)
