Study dispels ignorance and gives knowledge. Once you know, you can't "un-know" and are less likely to go back to the enemy. This isn't a guarantee. But it lies with you and how devoted you are and how much you love Satan.
Yes, even those that came from a religious background can become dedicated and devoted Satanists. Talk to Satan about your fears, worries, hopes, etc. Just be honest, polite and respectful. You can do this quietly out loud where you are positive absolutely no one can hear you. Or you can just talk to him in your mind, if you have little privacy, nosy relatives, roommates or thin walls.
It's just a drop or two of blood, not a gushing river or certainly not a deep cut. Compare this to the lies of Christianity and other enemy religions, and how many people are still caught up in their lies. And a drop or two of blood suddenly doesn't seem so scary.
Doing this shows you are serious. It takes a lot of courage to do this dedication ritual because you are going against all the lies you have been taught throughout this lifetime.

I want to become a devoted Satanist however in the past I didnt exactly do the dedication ritual correctly and ended up chickening out. Not to mention I used to say bad things about Satan being that I grew up in a religious background.
