My loved one passed away, I was there with her in ICU. I was wondering if there needs to be a special cleaning done? And for how long? Is there a rule on how long should I wait until I become intimate with someone.

I suggest you do a standard ritual with the Gods for her and to guide her safely through the afterlife and through the process of incarnation. That is done once, if she is not a Zevist. If she is, prayer is enough whenever you feel like it, because the Gods already take care of her.

After that, focus on yourself, and try to clean yourself, because having your beloved partner pass away in front of your eyes is something that affects you, mentally or emotionally and energetically. Do deep cleanings of your soul, to get rid of the Grey energies associated with death that might have attached to your aura and soul, and if you feel it is necessary, do a working with the rune Wunjo for healing, emotionally and mentally.

And there is no rule about how long you should wait. But I believe it is morally correct to think about how long she would wait if she were in your shoes and follow that.
