Hello... :(
So after do[/IMG]"pelvic floor dyssynergia"[/B] and I realized on my own that it was caused due to me sitting for long hours, for many days on a fucking chair that I bought, which made my butt hurt afterwards.

Pelvic floor dyssynergia is basically a paradoxical condition, in which the pelvic muscles contract, instead of relaxing, when someone is about to empty their rectrum. Normal bowel movements involves relaxation of these muscles.
I read that the only way to heal this is by doing yoga stretches and relaxing the pelvic muscles...So, today I tried, twice a day doing these exercises: http://www.pelvicpain.org.au/informatio ... ax-pelvis/But now I am actually more sensitive to sitting! (of course I don't sit on that fucking chair anymore)
What can I do?? :'(This thing has really stressed me out and made me sad because I can no longer go do gymnastics. The thing with pelvic floor dyssynergia is that, although I *do* want to go to the toilet, first of all it takes me more than 10 minutes to manage to let something out, and then I NEVER feel that I have completely emptied my body. So I can't go work out because it's like I haven't gone to the toilet at all.
Can you please tell me what yogic postures I should try? And how in the world, I should sit -and for how long?- on a chair? I google searched about the correct posture on chair and I see conficted images!!Also, is sitting on a new bed mattress (it's a good mattress) better than sitting on a chair?Should I not stand up for too long? :((I read somewhere that even standing up, like sitting down, shouldn't be for too long)Is there a best position to sleep?

How long will it take to heal this annoying thing?? :(
Heeeelp me... Thanks for reading. D;

Hey, this kundalini yoga session really helps with constipation and digestion if you can do it:

http://www.pinklotus.org/-%20KY%20Kriya ... n%20fp.htm

Also frog pose helps

http://www.pinklotus.org/-%20KY%20Postu ... 20Pose.htm

Pretty much any yoga and any vibrations that empower the base chakra help with constipation so focus there. Use laum. I really reccomend the first yoga session I posted, it really helps with that problem. But if you can do that session and frog pose and use laum into your base then that would really help. -------------------------------------------- On Sun, 1/24/16, Light Yagami tapapakiastinseira@... Hello, Light Yagami.

Well from all that you have mentioned, I need you to answer a couple of questions pertaining to the situation.

For how long have you ever went sitting down? Hours at a time and everyday?

Have you noticed pain or pressure when sitting down anywhere around your body?

What is your weight and body constitution like?

As for standing and sitting, one of the problems is more so stagnation. Whether standing or sitting, if the body isnt free, flowing and active in anyway, it stagnates over time. With Qigong and energy healing, energy stagnating and imbalances is the reason for disease. Sitting for hours at a time everyday and your body takes on a form like memory, something  it is use to so your pelvic area is liken to the sitting position and restricted.

So you want to make sure your body and internal systems are being worked out and "massaged" (Through Yoga and other methods.)

Standing too long is a problem when you start to get tired or feel pains and tensions in the body. It happens to me but this is more so when I am not doing anything, just standing...sedentary.

Depending on how long it took for the ailment to develop plays a role in how long it will take to heal and relieve. Continue doing your yoga with emphasis on positions that stretch the pelvic area, thighs, legs, solar plexus area as they are all connected, pretty much lower body asanas.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
For a couple of days, try to sit less and be more active so your muscles and revert back to the normal functioning. If you have a laptop, stand up while using it. Running around in the park works out too.

When you are using the toilet, what helps is relaxing your mind and body and commanding your bowels to loosen. I know how weird it sounds but it works. Your brain plays a role in controlling body occurrences and so will your body and bowels to relax and release the waste.

Also, what makes things worse is in modern toilets used today. When people moved their bowels, they were always more so in a squatting position. When you are sitting down on a regular toilet the bowels are slightly closed and angled so that it makes it more difficult to use the bathroom and empty yourself out. Next time you go, use a crate or anything that is good enough to lift your legs up. Ive attached a picture to demonstrate.

The legs should be angled out and it helps a lot. Use anything you can that will achieve this. A crate or related.

There are many herbs and  foods you can use to relax your colon and surrounding area. They also cleanse and stimulate the colon for an easy elimination. They are beneficial.

I'm not sure how you are financially but if you can, try to get some herbs that act as a laxative.
I'm sure CentralForce can list some that relax, cleanse and tone the elimination system. They can more than likely be found at a local herb market or grocery store.

I get mine online and is a combination of herbs that stimulate and cleanse the bowels.

Hello Light. So I'm pretty sure this is confirmed, but "going" on the toilet is bad. I'm not a professional, but there is substantial evidence that points to sitting on the toilet as the main reason for constipation. This is because when sitting, some organ is (for lack of a better word) pinched, which restricts excretement flow. So the cure for this, is squatting. Now I've tried this before, and it seems to work. You can find guides on how to do this on the internet. Just look up "how to properly use the toilet while squatting" or something like that. You can even buy squat-things. For sleeping, I have heard that sleeping on the side of the body, or on the back is the best. I on the stomach, and don't have problems, but hey, that's just me. Hope this helps, HAIL SATAN!!!

Yes, in my response to her I posted about squatting and adjusting the bathroom habit.

Hey, thank you for the responses. ;_;

Well, this fucking chair (the only way I can refer to it) came in my house in the beginning of 2016 (1st-2nd January) so I... started using it since then.
Because of my work being in front of the computer, as well as drawing, I could even sit 10 hours a day (not all at-once but with breaks). I have definitely sat for 3 hours straight though).
And of course, everyday.

I *was* always feeling pain in my butt after getting up from the fucking chair, but I thought I would eventually get used to it (wrong, wrong thinking!!). I would feel pain even after sitting for only 10 minutes...

As for my weight and body constitution, I am average. Like this I guess: http://www.blogcdn.com/lifestyle.aol.co ... ody-pe.jpg
There is no "thigh gap" and stuff like that; just a usual mediterranean body shape.

As for the toilet, I will try the squat thing. :O

Now, in regards to laxatives, I really do not believe I need these. :/
It is not like my body waste are hard and difficult to remove; it's just that the muscles around my genitals (the pelvic floor) tightens instead of relaxing when I am about to do my thing.

So, I believe the problem is entirely physical as in, my pelvic floor was messed up because of the fucking chair.

I will definitely try these: http://www.pinklotus.org/-%20KY%20Kriya ... n%20fp.htm
Thank you very much!! (I will try them, as much as my flexibility allows me to)

You can use an Enema as well (or the showerhead if you will not have another use for it), it helps both in physically aiding the movement of muscles and in the hygiene of rectum.

Light Yagami, you responses are always so animated. Lol

But anyway, The laxatives were more so to soften and loosen the stool so that it can release from you easier without you trying much, in the meantime while you are healing your pelvic area. It also helps to relax your muscles there.

Ok. Try those things and please update us. Use a combination of the tips we all gave.

I do apologise for not weighing in on this one sooner, I have been very busy. I've done what I could to even swing this time to get on today so I'll try to make this post count.

Light, I am interested in how you came to the conclusion that your problem is pelvic floor dyssynergia? From what I can gather this condition is usually diagnosed using electrodes which are placed on or near the pelvic floor muscles to measure the contraction of the muscles compared with the patient's sensations..

Either way, I'd like to suggest a few possibilities from a Chinese Medicine perspective (any one of which may or may not encompass this same disorder, just under a different manner of understanding).

Syndromes for which constipation are a part are as follows:

Qi Stagnation (also caused by sitting for long periods/not exercising enough) - constipation is not a main symptom but might occur alongside bloating and general digestive upsets, pain which is general (not in a fixed location) over a broad area and has an aching quality and is usually associated with a lack of exercise, emotional frustration and worry as the general core symptoms and causes. The Qi does not move and thus one has difficulty moving the bowels in this instance. Massage of the abdomen, gentle qi moving foods such as turmeric, basil, mint (small amounts only), horseradish, pepper, cardamom, cumin, fennel, black coffee (no sugar, no milk and only 1 per day to drain and purge the liver qi downwards) and sourdough breads are foods which assist this. Herbal use is dependent upon in which organ the qi stagnation is centered (usually the liver but it can also stagnate in the Lungs and Large Intestine or Stomach to cause this problem.

Fire (the next stage of Qi Stagnation) - Fire bears similar traits to Qi Stagnation with the additional symptom of heat, pain tends toward burning pain and it would be expected that when you do pass stools, they leave a burning sensation in your rectum. Fire also brings a propensity towards explosive emotional outbursts, a strong thirst sensation, often with cravings for very cold water or iced drinks and the face often appears red. Insomnia is also a key feature of fire. I won't suggest too many dietary additions for fire because fire clearing foods must be eaten according to the organ in which the fire is present and only in small, monitored amounts because most of them are very strong herbs which can have ill effects on other body systems as a result of their fire and heat clearing qualities and this is the category most laxatives such as rhubarb root fall into. They ahould be taken with caution and are often prepared with herbs which support digestive energy as they tend to damage it in the process of clearing the fire. One such herb, and I don't recommend anyone take it without consulting someone who knows what they are looking at, is Gypsum Fibrosum... This is the same as the gyprock they use in plasterboard sheets only food grade quality. Fire causes constipation by drying the fluids in the extreme heat leaving the bowels unmoistened - they can be moistened with foods such as bananas and honey and eating smaller meals is another helpful technique to reduce fire as is cutting out alcohol consumption and hot, spicy foods.

Blood Deficiency - This is common in women and manifests as a pale dull complexion, pale lips, tiredness and insomnia, may present with cold limbs (rare but possible), slight thirst and desire to drink room temperature water in small sips, shortness of breath, tendon problems (could also include pelvic floor dyssynergia through inadequate blood nourishment to the tendons around the pelvic floor) and women experience short periods which only last 2-3 days or there is very light flow over 5 days OR a greater number of days between periods, skipped periods and in some cases total amenorrhea (total absence of the period). This is a major tell tale sign and the trick to getting the constipation to end is to nourish the blood which moistens the intestines - Angelica Root is fantastic for this but it can also be done by regularly consuming smaller meals of foods such as cooked whole grains (oats, barley, rice), chicken, Chinese black skin chicken, Bone broths and soups, Black Sesame seeds (these are a herb for this condition), stewed fruits as well as ensuring all meals are cooked and that one drinks enough room temp - warm water daily to nourish the fluid portion of the blood since dryness tends to accompany blood deficiency, be that in the form of a dry mouth or dry and easily broken skin, psoriasis, eczema (non itchy variety) and non itchy dandruff. Ensuring one has adequate levels of iron, Vitamin B complex, zinc and magnesium can also help (tremors, tics and other involuntary muscle spasms can also be a sign of blood deficiency).

The above three are the most common syndromes for which constipation occurs but it can also occur as a part of Qi Deficiency (almost identical to blood deficiency minus the dryness, insomnia, thirst components and the complexion is generally shiny and pale rather than dull - digestive insufficiency is common in both blood and qi deficiency with bloating and poor appetite featuring regularly), Yang Deficiency (equal to qi deficiency but with the added symptom of COLD), Yin Deficiency (which might be mistaken for fire but is more like total dryness, a malar flush on the cheeks against a pale complexion, insomnia, feelings of heat which are worse in the afternoon and scanty dark urine as well as night sweating (including anytime one falls asleep - Yin deficient people tend to feel as though they have lots of energy but have an underlying feeling of total exhaustion which is always there).

The Qi deficiency and Yang deficiency result in constipation because there is not enough vital energy to move the stools and Yin Deficiency is about bowel dryness, similar to blood deficiency but with a slightly different treatment protocol.

One thing which strikes me however is the addition of the feeling of incomplete evacuation (tenesmus) which almost always indicates dampness and damp heat, which are products of Spleen Qi Deficiency or an excessive indulgence in fatty, fried (and hot in the case of Damp heat) foods OR the product of long term Qi stagnation and the resultant poor fluid distribution...

Does any of the above sound like what you are experiencing or are you feeling differently? Blood Stagnation can also cause constipation but since I have already described so much, I might leave it to see how you compare ti what I have already described to save needlessly describing the others as I am short on time presently...

@ivy thank you for your long and informative answer but honestly, I have none of the symptoms you wrote. In general, I am very healthy and I was exercising daily until this freakin' problem occured so I can't go for running (because if I don't fully empty myself before running, it is not pleasant at all).
I understood that it is the problem I wrote because, before coming accross the information on the Internet, I had, on my own, pondered on what exactly I am feeling and I can't do my work right. And it was this thing exactly. The muscles tighten instead of relaxing. And after I found the information on the Internet it was like a "flash" in my mind; the cause behind it also came easily to my mind; the fucking chair.

I believe if you know your body good enough and if you have an overall healthy lifestyle (diet, working out etc), if something suddenly goes wrong, it won't be so hard to figure what it is, and what caused the problem to occur.
