Hello...
So after do[/IMG]"pelvic floor dyssynergia"[/B] and I realized on my own that it was caused due to me sitting for long hours, for many days on a fucking chair that I bought, which made my butt hurt afterwards.
Pelvic floor dyssynergia is basically a paradoxical condition, in which the pelvic muscles contract, instead of relaxing, when someone is about to empty their rectrum. Normal bowel movements involves relaxation of these muscles.
I read that the only way to heal this is by doing yoga stretches and relaxing the pelvic muscles...So, today I tried, twice a day doing these exercises: http://www.pelvicpain.org.au/informatio ... ax-pelvis/But now I am actually more sensitive to sitting! (of course I don't sit on that fucking chair anymore)
What can I do?? :'(This thing has really stressed me out and made me sad because I can no longer go do gymnastics. The thing with pelvic floor dyssynergia is that, although I *do* want to go to the toilet, first of all it takes me more than 10 minutes to manage to let something out, and then I NEVER feel that I have completely emptied my body. So I can't go work out because it's like I haven't gone to the toilet at all.
Can you please tell me what yogic postures I should try? And how in the world, I should sit -and for how long?- on a chair? I google searched about the correct posture on chair and I see conficted images!!Also, is sitting on a new bed mattress (it's a good mattress) better than sitting on a chair?Should I not stand up for too long?
(I read somewhere that even standing up, like sitting down, shouldn't be for too long)Is there a best position to sleep?
How long will it take to heal this annoying thing??
Heeeelp me... Thanks for reading. D;
