hello my name is jeff tielke and im sort of new to religion in general. i was, i guess you can say, raised to believe in the christian way of thinking. i went to a christian school from pre-school to third grade and was forced to go to church every friday, and after that my family made me and my sister go to sunday school i think till about half way thru fourth or fifth grade i cant remember. anyway i considered myself more of an atheist, but was open to the concept of a higher power, that being god (from christianity), which evolved into what i believed as a hierarchy, i.e. god as king, then lesser gods (like from the ancient religions, mainly Egyptian gods) angels, demons, then humanity on the bottom being ruled in a sort of way. then one night a few months back i was surfing through youtube and stumbled onto the video "The Evils of the System" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYgBRmCLdSI ) by AngelFighter666, which at first i thought was an anti-government video. boy was this a shock. it felt like a blow to the head, i needed to know more, questions from days long forgotten arouse and new answers were found. eventually i made it to the JoS website and began to study. it was a bit overwhelming at first but now its settling in on me. i was about to start trying to open the chakras and astral projection when i read that it was highly recommended to do the dedication ceremony beforehand, for protection from Father. long story short im waiting for the candles and such to come in the mail.

but one day a religious discussion broke out in the shop where i work, and i was labeled as a "devil worshiper" simply because i wear all black when not at work - i like the color, i think it looks good on me. anyway, i mentioned what ive been looking into and was immediately shot down and felt like an idiot because i could not counter their counter-counter argument.... so i was asked to show them where i got "these ridicules ideas" from, so i e-mailed the JoS website and two sermons from this e-group. the reply's i got back were rather disturbing and i haven't talked to him about it since. i feel like i needed to post these here, but i would like some feedback on the matter. i mean no disrespect and the opinions posted in the quotes are entirely of the other individual:

And actually, there are testimonies and my personal ones that this "religion" works. And i've never experienced anything in other religions than Spiritual Satanism. I've found that He's real by my own experience and confirmed most of the things i know from my research like about Him being the true Creator.

Its sad that many people don't even bother to read the sources and just blabbering ignorant things. Many books like the Gods of Eden by William bramley come to the same conclusion that Satan is the true God. It isn't just this site. I've read and researched things from many sources and all say the same thing.

And wtf he's talking about the "devils" and Demons???They are actually our Pagan Gods if one notices their simillarities or bothers to summon them. Its xianity that actually demonized them, even many of their names have a positive meaning in Sanskrit like ashta meaning eight.

Not to mention, most of the traditional Satanic symbols like the Baphomet and the red and black colors were used in ancient religions and were revered and respected. The baphomet comes from the Egyptian Goat of Mendes which was a symbol of Ptah (Satan). Satanism is actually more similar to Buddhism, as far as expanding your mind and meditation are concerned.

I wish I understood the second paragraph, but it makes my brain hurt. As kurenaii60 already said, I think he is confusing xian and Zion, the x stands for the Greek word Χριστος, meaning Christ, so xianity is pronounced Christianity ( it's easier than typing Christianity, and us internet folks are lazy).

It is your job to be informed about your religion, so you can counter stupid arguments like this in the future, and remember that they are just regurgitating what they have heard from others, their arguments are built on lies, misinformation and strawmen.

Wow i didn't see the "drug use and imagination" thing. Really many people ask about drugs here and get answers like "don't use them they harm your aura and fill it with holes". And thats the truth. I believe there's even a sermon in the JoS site about the bad effects of drugs. And if that fool could carefully read the site, it is based on POWER MEDITATION and one's ACTUAL EXPERIENCES, not any kind of drugs or imagination. but one day a religious discussion broke out in the shop where i work, and i was labeled as a "devil worshiper" simply because i wear all black when not at work - i like the color, i think it looks good on me. anyway, i mentioned what ive been looking into and was immediately shot down and felt like an idiot because i could not counter their counter-counter argument.... so i was asked to show them where i got "these ridicules ideas" from, so i e-mailed the JoS website and two sermons from this e-group. the reply's i got back were rather disturbing and i haven't talked to him about it since. i feel like i needed to post these here, but i would like some feedback on the matter. i mean no disrespect and the opinions posted in the quotes are entirely of the other individual:
