I will talk about this situation in a more legal way. Basically, this guy likely violates probably most of the Romanian laws regarding transparency of the candidates, because he is unable to give accurate information about how he was exactly promoted, how much did it cost, and he tries to hide all of these costs by the "influence of TikTok" which might be actually pretty unprecedented as no one clearly regulates this. I doubt Romania has laws regulating TikTok’s influence on a transparent basis, and it would be pretty stupid to create laws based on such small cases.
Still, talks about TikTok promoting him sounds like bullshit, because TikTok's algorithm promotes only the content that has enough initial impressions. So it is clear we need to ask about who promoted him initially. How much money did the initial promotion cost? Or maybe there was some explicit deal with TikTok? I can tell you dozens of stories about how "important" people from Facebook, TikTok and even X are invited to big tech companies (the companies that use social media for ads), get their luxury class plane tickets bought just in order to make agreements that something like Facebook would not ban one's scam projects.
If you have suspicions and are a concerned citizen, it would be advisable for you as a Romanian citizen to find out what laws specifically this guy violates, and try to spread all of this as much as you can. His bullshit about "TikTok promoted me" does not cut it, because it does not answer who exactly paid for his campaign. And claims that he came out of “thin air” also sounds like bullshit. When someone comes really organically, then it takes lots of time. figure of the past is the perfect example of this organic promotion. figure of the past until was able to take power worked 24/7 for fifteen years, i.e., from 1918 to 1933 until he was elected. And here you say that some random weirdo became a national sensation in just a couple of weeks. This never happens in reality. It is just a way of Yehubor to simulate “revolution”. Another perfect example is the Joy of Satanas. 20 years ago, ToZ was pretty much nothing, and basically no one knew about it, except for some strange lurkers on the internet. Now it is on a much different scale, and this is still the infancy stage of the ToZ.

Looking into his TikTok "story" in a slightly more different angle, one would probably find multiple transparency violations, maybe to such an extent this candidate would need to be kicked out. Some people are unable due to their stupidity and confusion to separate who are real opposition, and who are just trolls intended to take all the attention, abuse emotionally, and make them lose all hope.
