Has anyone asked this yet about dedication?

Do you have to do a dedication first for Satan to even consider saying hi to you? Or can you do the dedication after you have met him and then do the dedication because you like him and want to say, "hay I am on his side".

Also, I think I did not understand anything when I was a kid when I did my first dedication. I am an adult now, so is it ok to do the dedication again now that I understand about Satan a bit more and the meaning of dedicating to him?

If any Priests for the JOS see this, please have your opinion or some help in understanding that kind of dedication, what emotions are like, the experiences you all had. Anything would help, I am really finicky over it, I want it to be as close to perfect as possible.

Would a sliver colored knife like silverware work? or do I need to get at least a silver plated knife?

If you did the dedication thats on the JoS, and followed those steps. Then you don't need to do it again. Simply do a Standard Ritual to Satan explaining how you're feeling and that you are serious this time.

No, you wont be able to get close to Satan without being dedicated. He simply dosn't have the time to potter around talking and saying 'hi' to those without. We develop a relationship with Satan when we work diligently for Him and for Ourselves.

And the tools aren't important. What is important is your intention and will. Just whatever you can get your hands on. If you can't get the tools/items listed, use what you can. Satan has given us everything we need within us.
