Getting into a Trance

Greetings again.I fail to get into a trance-whether deep or not.It is a hassle for me.

Impatience is not tha only problem here.

<td val[/IMG]One method that I have been using is try to visualize myself jumping of of something,like jumping into water when swimming,or jumping down from a tree.My understanding is to feel yourself falling.It helps me.Hopefully it can help you too.

I read this technique somewhere some time ago, can't remember the link, but here it is:
imagine a blackboard, and write the letter A. Then draw a circle around it. Then erase the circle. Then erase the letter. Now, write the letter B. Continue this process thru-out the alphabet, and hell, if u still don't feel tranced-out yet, go backwards or start again (or do numbers). What is supposed to happen is that you get so bored, that this empty-mind boredom creates a falling effect (which is the exact need for a trance) such as what Brian suggested.
Or u know that feeling when an elevator goes down? Try to recreate that, but have patience, this is hard for me too as well as many other ppl. Like everyone tells me tho...consistency (aka patience

<td val[/IMG]We are all different.What works for me,may not for you,and that's OK.Maybe you should stick with visualizing climbing down a ladder,like H P Pythia recommends.The idea is to recreate a falling effect in your mind.It was hard for me to at first,but just keep on practicing,and you will get it too.Good Luck!

For those of you with trouble getting into a trance, just concentrate on learning to relax as much as possible first. That really is the only hard part, once you are able to do this entering a trance is easy.
