Dream?

Had a really intense dream. Found an empty room with writing on the wall and a sigil next to it. Reminded me of Necronomicon Spellbook, had one of those zigzagging lines with a circle at the end. Said what was written and something appeared. It was in the form of a black dog. It knew I wasn't who normally asked it to come, it was angry. I told it I could serve it, it asked what value I had to serve it. I told it I was intelligent and fearless. It showed favor and gave me a new name. It also told me two names it went by. I can't remember the symbol, or any of the names now.
