What is the truth on dental care? We all (should) know fluoride is bullshit and in fact very harmful.
What about everything else? Are we being pushed to brush too frequently? Is oil pulling bullshit or not? What's the best thig to do for gingivitis? Any other comments havig to do with tooth care.?
It's just we've all been so lied to about everything by the jews that I must wonder what is what as they have monoplpolized the healthcare industry, which includes dental! All they do is lie, so anything they say... Including seemingly healthy things like brushing everyday, I wonder about. Maybe it breaks down the enamel inviting cavities! Thoughts? I'm not advocating poor hygiene at all but I must say, I rarely ever brushed my teeth growing up and never had a cavity. I smoked heavily for 5 years and drank coffee daily. Once and a while they'd start to yellow and I'd brush with baking soda an they'd be good for a while. I know people that brush multiple times a day and get cavities every time they visit the dentist. And they have yellow teeth. What's with that?

I have always brushed twice a day and neither have I had any cavities or issues. Never had a root canal nor any other major dental work except a plate to correct an under bite when I was very young, and I only wore it for a few months.

The teeth (along with all bones) are dependent on the functioning of the TCM concept of the Kidneys, which includes the functions of the adrenal glands and also some genetics. So, in a large way your genetics determine your teeth health but looking after your kidneys helps. This means taking a day off regularly to rest, eating foods which do not destroy the kidneys (excessively damp foods and those which are strongly pungent as well as diuretic foods) too often and looking after the balance of Yin and Yang in your body. Of course, meditation is the best way to do this and the sacral chakra is in the same location that the Chinese refer to as Ming Men or fire of the gate of life which comes directly from the Kidney Essence. Thus, the step in the Magnum Opus where one draws up and holds sexual energy in the sacral chakra is benefitting and strengthening the Ming Men fire and supplementing the Kidneys.

Also, the Kidneys require balance to function properly and often the teeth are affected in patters of Kidney Yin and Kidney Essence Deficiency rather than those of Kidney Yang Deficiency but since absence or diminishment of one often leads to the other, the teeth can suffer regardless.

As for mouth problems, these are related to the stomach and Spleen, mouth ulcers are often die to Spleen damp heat or stomach heat and cold. Bleeding gums (regardless of what bacteria might be present) is a sign of stomach fire and will be associated with other symptoms like mental restlessness, strong appetite and lots of energy (but hard to sleep as well due to strong energy) as well as epigastric pain and possibly reflux and stomach pain (amongst others, these are the most common).

Tongue problems, ulcers and pain are related to heart disharmonies however the Heart and Kidneys have a special relationship in TCM so there may be accompanying Kidney concerns alongside tongue problems....

I'm currently trying out oil pulling with coconut oil as part of my morning/evening routine and I have noted a reduction in some inflammation of my upper gums. My teeth feels smoother and my breath is fresher also. I will try this for a few more weeks and update everyone on the results. Hopefully with positive results I can recommend this method as a way to reduce/cure gingivitis.
I am also looking into something called 'teeth blotting' which supposedly does not require the use of toothpaste, mouthwash or flossing yet accomplishes the objectives of all three.
Dr Joseph Phillips (1922 - 2003) explains The Blotting Technique for healthier teeth and gums.  The people you know who always brush but still have yellow teeth and cavities probably have shit diets and are not performing their oral routine properly.
I believe that cavities can be remineralised through proper nutrition rich in vitamins and minerals which support the oral system. Dr Weston. A. Price has good information regarding this.

I've been doing oil-pulling on and off for the past 3 years, my mouth and gums always feel better when I am doing it. I've found that olive oil, coconut oil, and grapeseed oil work the best.

I have noticed my teeth are stronger and whiter just from adding more calcium and magnesium and balancing my nutrition more along the lines of the Weston. A Price way as Lucius mentioned. and of course less grains high in physic acid.

Also, if anyone didn't notice Light Yagami had a really good suggestion to brush with coarse salt (in the main JoS group). It works well and it's way cheaper than any toothpaste--with or without fluoride. I got a big container for about 3 bucks and it doesn't take much each time you brush

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to try oil pulling again. I can believe in the acclaimed dental benefits, but I'm still skeptical about full body health benefits from it. I don't understand how. Any strong opinion on that?

Supposedly it has to do with the different regions of the tongue/what organs and regions they relate to (like with the tongue diagnosis diagram). I guess if those regions are clean then those organs should be cleaner/healthier? I dunno if it works that well. However I have noticed my tongue is a lot pinker since oil pulling even though I only started a few days ago. But I think for me its a combination of that and taking Bu zhong Yi qi wan. I think it helps though :)

Been reading up on what foods to eat and not to eat in regards to dental health and one thing that keeps popping up is not to eat grains which include RICE. Anyone know if this is a bullshit claim ? Billions of people eat rice everyday and are healthy as fuck but I doubt it fucks up one's oral health.

'Blotting' with Dr Phillips Blot brushes worked wonders for my dental health. The brushes have the function of a mouthwash (same effect as cleaning mouth but without the risk of oral cancer from alcohol and other chemicals), floss and also most importantly, destroyer of plaque. Regular brushing is only useful for cosmetics and should be done once a day.
The coconut oil pulling also worked well to clean my mouth of plaque and bacteria. It also whitened my teeth. I highly recommend these for people looking to improve their oral health.
