The old grim-wars which were both completely misleading and insulting used to say that those where the days in which you were aloud to summon him or her.  That's not true at all though; so I'm not really sure.  I had thought that they might have something to do with when the person was born. So that would make Marax a Cancer; which would give the person looking for their guardian something else to look for. Say for instance you were a Cancer as well; and you saw that you could put her in your list of possibilities when searching.  Or you could be like Marax is a Cancer which is a what sign and I'm a Pieces which is also a water sign.  I also say that because some of the Demons have conflicting dates and elements, which makes me think that there is a grand tine in their birth chart.  I don't how ever have any fact about this and just speculating, this would be an excellent question for someone more experienced.  Hail Satan!
