dedication ritual and how to begin

ok so I did the dedication ritual tonite and idk if I did it wrong or not ;/ I live with my parents at the moment and I did the ritual up with the blood and all put the prayer with my name on it in a candle and watched it till the fire had turned it black. but as we know paper makes a horrible smell and I heard my parents cough and foot steps and put the fire out and said so mote it be like it says but not hail Satan idk if it still counts and I hope it didn't disrespect Lucifer and the demons of hell does it still count? And will I be able to talk to the demons I have the Ouija board and was going to try to talk to them tonite to get to know them a bit more but i don't know if i should if it didn't count. and for the final question what as newly dedicated satanists do at this point ? I don't know the true starting point after dedication

Like many similar posts to this. The answer is simple. It is the intent of the dedication, not if you got every aspect of it correct. Satan will understand that you had to hide the ritual from your parents and you havent caused any disrespect.
You can start by going to the JoyOfSatan website and reading through the whole site. There is a lot to learn there.
Also go to the meditations page and start on opening yourself up. Work on your power meditations as often as you can, daily if you can manage it. Practice some breathing exercises and the Foundation Meditation to begin with and work your way through the list as you go.

Keep leaning, studying, practicing and meditating.

There is a point where you need to put out the paper fire.  If it starts to affect others' health or create a safety hazard, it needs to be put out.  As with the blood, the object isn't to get that blood out if it puts you in the hospital.  You need to make a reasonable effort, and if you can't for whatever reason, do it symbolically. This also applies if the paper doesn't burn totally.  There is nothing that says you must complete the "So mote it be.  Hail Satan!" while the paper is burning, and if you must put it out or it goes out (or burns too quickly), the "Hail Satan!" part is still valid.  The same if you cannot burn anything because of the smoke or you can't do it safely--burying or shredding it will do.  If you are burying it, you can do the "So mote it be" part, fill in the hole, and do the "Hail Satan" immediately after.  If shredding it, you can say "So mote it be", put the paper in the shredder, and then do the "Hail Satan!" after shredding it. One good thing about Satan is He is not picky with the technical aspects.  Do it, mean it, and you are good to go.  It is often difficult to get supplies and getting just enough of a cut to draw blood but not so much to need a week off from work, arouse suspicion among xian workers, or end up in the hospital is often tricky.  Fire is dangerous if not handled with respect, and it is sometimes better to extinguish the paper before fully burned.  Also, you do not want your fire alarm to go off while you are meditating. Hail Satan![/B]

my dedication did not go as planned either but i did it though

i lived in an adult family home before and was kicked out for mine as at the time i tried an idea of doing it in a closet and putting towels under the closet door to prevent smoke from escaping.  that however did not work.

but

i will say the following so you can understand a little bit better:

i did not get the best amount of blood on it but with the black feather i had (that i suspect was from a common crow as in Washington State west coast usa where i am at those are easy to come by in some places) i was able to get some blood on there and basically get enough of an imprint of my name on there though.

i btw used my bloody pointer finger on my left hand at the time (i used a thumbtack btw) like an ink bottle in the sense that for what blood i was able to get on there i basically got some on there at least.

paper i had was blank kind of paper like the kind used for copiers like the kinds used in office buildings.  printer paper prolly would have also worked (just mentioning this for anyone else here that is reading this that wants info on good paper to buy for this or any other satanic reason here).

candle colors i had where all 3 of the mentioned kind.

black of course was hardest to find but i figure id try looking for it just cuz i thought id enjoy the challenge of trying to find it.

the smallest kind that i found was affordable (kinda but then that depends on the budget of the person).  the kind of black ones i found did not look like the link i posting here exactly but there were about that size.

red ones now theres a story to be told.  some of the tall red ones in glass type containers have jesus crap all over it but if yer lucky you can find tall red ones in glass containers with no pictures of any kind at all.  i was able to get one with no pics at all thankfully.

i forget what kind of blue i had but blue for me was the easiest kind to find.

bird feathers are good if you can find them and if you do not have a dried out pen at your disposal.

besides people used quills before pens and pencils so therefore so can we i say.

i will say a few more words for you here though

as far as future ritual and other satanic working go or at least any of it that requires burning of paper and/or incense goes or anything that causes smoke to come forth of any kind id say try to do that outside in the future if you can.

that will definitely help you in the long run.  plus you will find life to be allot easier if people know about less about your workings and such.
