Dedication Fail? Or am i impatient?

Warm greetings to all of this Yahoo group. I am fairly new to Satanism and have finally read through most all of the links on joyofsatan.org. A friend of mine who introduced me to this had gone through his dedication and is now still telling me about things he has done since then. This morning I finally decided to go for it, since now I feel that I understand the basis behind Father Satan and the lies we are being fed by Christianity, islam, and the jews. To get straight down to it, I used a smaller red candle (it had a smell to it so maybe it was a fragrance candle, but I didn't think it mattered), a regular piece of printer paper cut into a square with the prayer on it, and of course my blood. I followed the instructions given on the JoS website as close and precise as possible (bathing before ceremony and all). As a quick sidebar I was reading testimonials most of which described the different feelings and emotions these people went through after there own dedication. I cannot lie I don't feel much of a change since after ive done my own dedication. After heading home from where I was I read on another forum that it should be done at night, but it also said that if it cant be done then day is fine, the intentions is what matters. I began my dedication around 7:00 am in the morning, because I work graveyard shifts were I work so night is kinda hard for me. I guess with all that being said my question is this. Did I do something wrong? If so could I get any tips any of you may have, or should I just be patient. I know deep within me I truly believe that Satan is our true  father and original creator, so I feel like my intentions were in the right place. I guess I'm just alittle misconstrued because I guess I wanted a small sign that I did it properly. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Very few, if any, have something instantly happen. With some it takes a while, with others, things begin to
happen pretty quick. Depends on how spiritually advanced you are, past lives, etc. If your heart is truly
in it, then don't worry. My advice is study, meditate, study some more and mediate daily. I have been
a Spiritual Satanist for almost three years and have NEVER regretted it. For me, things began to happen
within days after I meditated. But that is not the case with everyone. I studied meditation for a while
with a Hindu outfit, was a member for three years. Also, I was in Wicca much longer, before that.
My spiritual eyes were opened years ago, but I am not going to into details here. So, that could easily
be the reason I saw and experienced some awesome things pretty much from the start. Like Maxine says,
each one of us has a different experience. Yes! Be patient and i suggest Hooded Cobra's 40 program to
begin with and help you get going.

If you truly intended to dedicate and were/are serious about this then the dedication was valid. The experiences people have after the dedication are completely individual so its fine even if you didnt feel a difference.

Don't worry. I used a birthday candle and a large post-it note. This was in a garage. Yes it was not very classy but it got the job. Make due with what you have.
