Curses of the Gods

Regarding the above link: how did the Gods put a curse on the tombs? I mean what is the exact process of cursing a place or an object? Just evoke grey energy into it?

So here's the deal: I'd like to use an object as a weapon:

1. I do something with this object in the physical world, which triggers
2. the given object to do it's task.

This would be some kind of cursed object, like when our Gods cursed the tombs - the archeologists opened the tomb, this was the physical action, this triggered the object (or place, I don't know) to do it's task - to kill the intruders.

So I want to create an object like this, how do I start? If any HPs or HPS's have an answer for this, that would be great.

Well, I started working on it. I'll make an object like this to see how it works. When I get results, I'll post it to this group.
