Even in the fictitious bible, in the first book (Genesis) you get to see who is the liar and who tells the truth. When yhwh commands Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge and Tree of Life what does he tell them? He says that if they were to eat from them; they will "surely die". Now when the serpent "tricks" Eve into eating from the Tree of Knowledge he tells them that not only will they not die but, and I quote: "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." And we all know what happens next. They eat from the tree: "And the eyes of them both were opened..." Now tell me who lied to whom as they didn't die and their eyes WERE opened. Seems as though the false "god" of the jews had something to hide.
