China is massively expanding its weather-control project, and is aiming to be able to cover half the country in artificial rain and snow by 2025, the government said Tuesday.

The practice of "cloud seeding" was discovered in the US in 1946 by a chemist working for General Electric. China launched its own similar program in the 1960s.

Dozens of other countries — including the US — also have such programs, but Beijing has the world's largest, employing around 35,000 people, The Guardian reported.

In a statement, China's State Council said that the country's cloud seeing project will expand fivefold to cover an area of 2.1 million square miles and be completed by 2025. (China encompasses 3.7 million square miles, meaning the project could cover 56% of the country's surface area.)


The project will be at a "worldwide advanced level" by 2035, the State Council said, and will help alleviate "disasters such as drought and hail" and facilitate emergency responses "to forest or grassland fires."


Generating artificial rain and snow is fairly simple in principle. Spraying chemicals like silver iodide or liquid nitrogen into clouds can make water droplets condense, and fall as rain or snow.

China launched a localized cloud seeding project in Beijing shortly before the 2008 Olympics, which it said successfully forced anticipated rains to fall before the event started.

In June 2016, China allocated $30 million to its cloud seeding project, and started firing bullets filled with salt and minerals into the sky.


A year later, China spent $168 million on a huge supply of equipment to facilitate the project, including four aircraft and "897 rocket launchers," The Guardian said.

As Business Insider previously reported, China's Ministry of Finance wanted to use cloud seeding to create at least 60 billion cubic meters of additional rain every year by 2020.

In January 2019, state media reported that cloud seeding tactics in the western region of Xinjiang had prevented crops from 70% of hail damage.

Notice how it says other countries have been doing it. The person who wrote the article tried hard not to but they admit many countries have been doing this for a while.

(IF I'm being ignorant feel free to call me out on it. I know lightning purifies the air even from pollution. But like I state below isn't rain/snow capturing particulate matters of pollution).

Wouldn't the snow/rain that is gonna fall, grab pollution and embed the pollution into the farmlands and territories expanding into farmland. Affecting the land, crops, and animals.

In simplest terms rain/snow + pollution = poison into the groundwater, animals, and crops meant for food/water. Both food/water to ourselves and food/water to animals thus a double-whammy of poison.

Kinda like an expensive mans way of creating chem-trails and poisoning people in China and around the World both in their food and water.

I have a family member that orders this wonderful weightloss supplement from China and it seems like she is gonna be consuming pollution IF that area is under artificial snow/rain. Supposedly they state the land where this plant is grown is very clean and highly maintained. Not sure if it's pure propaganda or a factual statement.

But it seems like we are gonna see more crops, animals, and drinking solutions with all this pollution.

While they're able to dissipate/lessen/weaken weather, that also means they can also increase it naturally, as well.

His excuse is that he wants to build wind turbines but as explained in the video the wind is very weak in this area.

So the big question. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED? So biden is just gonna let slide?

I was shocked to know about this news more because it slipped under my radar. Seeing there's VERY limited reporting on this I can't be too at fault *cough*.

What China is doing isn’t nothing new we already been messing with the weather since the 60’s from what I know. Just look up Operation Popeye. US used weather warfare against the Vietnamese to flush them out from their underground network of tunnels. This went on for 4 years until they couldn’t keep it secret anymore. And then we have HAARP with a base in Alaska manipulating the weather with these large antennas that create their own aurora borealis. So what China plans on achieving is not surprising. Just look at the smart fires that happened in California using DEW (direct energy weapon). So to sum it all up weather control has been going on for a loong time now.

This actually happens in my country. Nobody explicitly talks about it, but I think it is obvious.

I remember when living at a certain city, which is surrounded by cropfields, I would study sitting in front of the window. Frequently, I would see one of those little planes with the white stellium, like what is described as chemtrails. It would ALWAYS get cloudy afterwards. The sky would turn of a weird grey.

This wrecks the climate. It was really weird at that too, with sudden changes in temperature as a norm. It didn't matter what time of the year was. You can get sick easily that way too.

It is happening in the city where I live now too and hailstones fell in summer. Sudden changes in temperature as well, when it used to have a normal stable climate, hot in summer, cold in winter.

And, yes, they say it is for agriculture. There's a lot of that here.
