Charging crystals reaction

Hello brothers and sisters!

My significant other received a crystal from a nice store owner he frequently goes to. So I decided to charge it and program it to protect him from negative energy and amplify his vibrations. While breathing into the crystal my hand Chakra/palm started to burn and hurt. I don't have much experience with crystals. Did I do anything wrong? I could be the negative energy but I do AOP everyday and clean everyday. It is the selenite crystal(spelling?).

Thanks in advance!

These first need to be cleaned.

Putting them under runnining water should be enough.

I don't know if this work with every type of crystal, I only tried with quartz.

Selenite is a stone that absorbs negative energy and has spiritually purifying properties.

I've usually felt the sensation of burning energy when touching objects charged with negative energy, full of tense emotions. I've also felt it when touching Reiki treatments.

I recommend frequently purifying Selenite with a solar mantra while holding it in your hand for a vibration count of at least 10.

What is a solar mantra?

Selenite dissolves in water.

Selenite is best with lunar, not solar. Solar mantra will clean it, but make it less effective for it's unique properties.

Hello :)

For the most part, Selenite generally cleans itself; you can put it next to quartz or calcite as they clean other crystals.

You can leave it under moonlight to charge it further, but most crystals re-charge themselves (albeit a bit slower).

Running minerals under water is only viable for minerals hard enough. There is a scale for this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohs_scale. Around 4 on the scale, minerals start to crumble under running water, or in water in general. Quartz is quite hard, so there is no problem. I have a large fist sized clear quartz formation that is formed on some other softer material. I ran it under water once, and I think it ever so slightly crumbled, so I will not repeat it again. :)

Most. Is there a rule of thumb for this, such as black crystals being opposite of white ones, for example?

I have shungite, black tourmaline and obsidian, but I am interested in others as well.

Holding them right next to running water could be fine too...

I had one experience with that, when I got drunk at 17 for the first time in my life (at a school event, back in Hungary lmao!), got home drunk as a skunk...

My mom told me to grab my favorite wind chime and hold it next to running water at sink for one minute...

I hung it above my head at the bed to sit down and was told to study (oh my Lord, I could barely see straight, let alone memorize anything lmao!), the intense pufirying sensations felt out of this world!!! Like oh my Lord! It literally emitted a force of cleansing, and my body felt it push through for hours like a damn power wash!

I guess that means even stones dissolving in water like selenite could handle it... Hell, my wind chime was made of metal, not even seven inches tall probably aye...

(Before anyone adds: I despise alcohol and haven't had any for so many years I couldn't even count, was a social drinker for like 2-3 years in my early twenties until I realized I really hate the sensations and it's not worth the hype... I don't judge people who drink, but Hell I've had countless bad experiences with both being drunk and drunk people aye... Just adding here before anyone mentions it aye ahaha...)
