can somebody help me with mmy breathing exercises please

1.ok im trying exercise 1 however shoulde i imagine the charkas fat end not point end facing upwards/donwards or facing out of my body.
2.ok i cant breathe out long enough to correctly visualise the energy being drawn through all my charkas really hurts my lungs i dont know why because i have no medical problems although i am kind of unhealthy what should i do about this
 
What you need to do is to slow down your breathing. One thing you can do is practice slowing down your breathing by taking deep inhales very slowly and than exhale very slowly. You shoud only take about six of these a minute. If you practice controlling your breath you can achieve alot. I am sure it will be hard for you at first but just keep at it. I had the same problem in the beginning but now i have a much easier time in situations like this. Again deep slow inhales and exhales and only about six a minute. After you have acomplished six try to go to five and than four a minute.

<td val[/IMG]Good advice.I have COPD and when I started out I could barely hold for 4 counts,now 6 or more.My lungs have strengthened so much in this last year of doing power meditations.
