Can magick on oneself change one's genetic makeup?

I have been doing white magick spells to change my attributes and to attract things to myself and I look like a much different person when I look in the mirror. What accounts for this change? Is it a real physical change or a subjective one?

Subjective might be seen clearly with the opinion of another. If you know how and have the energy, you can change yourself into literally whatever you want.
So it's skill, energy, and will.
