Wanting advice on turning someones luck around for the better

I have a family member who has been an immense help and support to me and is really a good man. Always giving, helping people, and properly looking after his loved ones. A true old-school man who deserves real respect.

For years he was a very successful business owner, having one of the biggest companies in our city in his industry. Then what started as being screwed over by some people turned to years of bad luck that just won't leave him. He works incredibly hard, never complains, just keeps at it dong his best, but every time something good comes it's accompanied by something bad that either leaves him in the same position or a step back.
It genuinely seems like he has been cursed. I can't sense anything like that on him, his energies read according to how things are going in his life like anyone else, but through 3 location changes and switching to doing business as a different company this bad luck just carries on.

I thought is was a temporary thing, just part of life, maybe a Saturn return as the timing was about right, but it seems it's way outlasted any of those possibilities.

I can't stand to watch this anymore, I need to help him and I can only try do this with magick.

I have some ideas and direction but I'd like to ask for input and advice from my Spiritual Family.

First, cleaning and AoP on him. It doesn't have to take long, even 5 minutes a day. You can do the Returning Curses. You can also do a working to improve his business with runes or just visualize his company engulphed in white-gold light and affirm that it is successful.
