Can I replace Hatha Yoga with Foundation Meditation?

Hi brothers and sisters. I'm still doing my 40 days meditation program, but I have a problem with Hatha Yoga, because I feel uncomfortable when I try to do the positions. So my doubt is if I can replace it with Foundation Meditation. If so, what is the right way to do foundation meditation? I usually visualize myself absorbing energy from the sun, then I visualize my light body being enhanced by that energy and it becomes brighter with each exhale. Am I doing it right?

You are doing it right, but I would still suggest you to do hatha yoga. Hatha yoga and kundalini yoga is very imporant since a flexible body is the foundation for a good energy flow. You dont have to worry if you cant do the positions properly in the beginning. Just try your best and keep the position in ways that dont hurt. Then relax and breath in and out 2-5 times. Try to increase the amount of breaths over time. I couldn't do a lot of the positions right, too. For example, in the first position i couldnt stretch my legs through while keeping a straight back. I made my back straight but kept my feet in an angle that didnt hurt (not stretched completely). Then I worked day by day to get my feet to stretch more and now I am able to do it perfectly.

I found the PDF here: http://www.gentilenation.com/hatha-yoga.html
I supposed I can replace Hatha Yoga because in the PDF of the meditation program it says "Hatha Yoga instead of Foundation Meditation". For me those poses are very uncomfortable, and I read somewhere that if you don't feel relaxed with something it's better to avoid that and replace it with another meditation that makes you feel good.

Normally, the poses are uncomfortable because you cant stretch good enough. This would get better over time. But if you really don't want to do hatha yoga, then I don't think you have to force yourself.
