The fact that people will "feel" something about this is nothing that isn't expected. It will happen at first. Feelings means I don't use actual processing and I respond by how I just felt about the topic.
Feelings don't invalidate existence. None of these have to do with "feelings". Modern Israel also "feels" like we might be liable for extermination; Christians feel like we deserve to be thrown into fires, radical Islamics also "feel" that we must be killed.
Replacing the group and keeping the same feelings, and doing the same, means one is essentially another Yehubor that doesn't take any facts in consideration and discards the Truth only to verify their "feelings".
They also "Feel" for example that "YHWH" was the "God of Israel and the only God", Islamics can feel that "Allah is the only God" and the reality says this:

Truth is not exactly about how one "feels". It's about what is truly the case. The truth is no matter if you dislike these people (anyone can dislike anyone on this earth), that they followed the Gods in immemorial time before, they were killed for it, and religious Israeli zealots replaced via deadly force the True Gods and replaced them with "YHWH".
Early "Israelis" actually underwent what Judaism caused to later centuries, to Europeans, and later on, the same process occurred to sever the people from the Gods in the Middle East. That is the work of Yehubor and the servants of Izfet and evil people, started the severing of the Gods on them also.
They were Levantine followers of Astarte and EL [Zeus, Thunder God, Father of Mankind] under another name before the advent of Judaism; few people might see through and join the Gods again. Probably will be a few people, but it is what it is.
Zevism is about reality and while feelings are respected, the feelings cannot dictate all of history, existence and the Gods or the whole planet.
