Just because I have had surgery DOES NOT by any means, mean that I am going to stop meditating. However, I've come across a problem.I need to meditate upon my solar plexus chakra. However, I've found that I cannot because it says to contract your abdominal muscles by sucking in. Obviously that would be an idiotic and foolish thing to do on my part, considering the surgery was in that region and I have stitches in four places on this region. (Including my stomach and both my sides.)So is there any other type of breathing technique that I can do for my solar plexus?   |

You can do the alternate nostril breathing, the second subtype in which you hold at the end of the exhale and focus on your lower chakras. You can modify this to focus only on your solar plexus chakra.

This is not the time to do serious empowerment of your solar plexus chakra though because the Sun is in Libra, sign of fall. Wait at least until October 24th.
