Wow those are some interesting theories... I guess it stays a mystery :-/ I wish people would stop saying it. It's became a social norm just like the pledge of alliegance xians sneaking what they can in to curropt. I honor the flag but I will not say it cuz those words don't mean what I means to me. I believe it comes from the SuPERSTITION that when someone sneezes, the heart skips a beat or something. They could die.

I think its crap since sneezing is a NORMAL BODY FUNCTION.

I find it annoying that I ended up, from"back in the day", getting into the habit of it (just bless you w/o the god part.) If I find myself slip it out even out of curtisy now I simply remind myself that I myself hold this power to bless or curse. Gets me through the day...
